Notify who's waiting for you, and this changelog
If you're on a train, enter the email of who's waiting for you: after they accept, we'll notify them only if your arrival gets complicated (more than 15 minutes delay, bus replacement, stopped train or cancellation) and their address is deleted upon arrival. Notification emails open the incident directly on the map. And we're launching this news page.
Journey alerts and resolution notification
Choose two stations (in "Where are you going?" or by tapping origin and destination on the map) and Trenalia will email you when Adif or the operator publishes a closure, bus replacement or breakdown between them, and again when service returns to normal. Also, every station on the map now has its platform view.
Subscriptions to your line, your train and news
Receive email alerts for your Cercanías or Rodalies line or a train you take often, and a weekly newsletter with what's new in Trenalia. Unsubscribe with one click and, if you ask, you won't receive anything again.
AlertsTry it →Connections at each station
On the platform you see nearby bike-sharing with real-time available bikes and docks, and whether the station connects to airport or ferry.
StationsTry it →Email alerts and "My trips"
Request a reminder before departure and alerts for delay, cancellation or at-risk connection. "I'm on this train" appears on any train, and your trips are saved in your history.
"I'm on a train": let them wait without calling
Send your family a link or QR code: they'll see where your train is on the map, remaining stops and arrival time, and can request an arrival notification.
TripsTry it →Bus replacements, closures and elevators on the map
Cercanías and Rodalies alerts appear on the map: bus replacement sections, closures, single track, affected trains and broken elevators. Also when planning a trip for another day.
Trenalia in 30 seconds
The website explains at a glance what Trenalia is and everything you can do with it.
App and webTry it →Where each delay comes from and alerts with the web closed
Next to each delay you see its source (Renfe, Adif or Trenalia's estimate). Notifications for your train arrive even if you have the web closed.
"What if...?" simulation and live hypotheses
For professionals: simulate an incident on the network and watch how it spreads, with time machine. Trenalia proposes incident hypotheses live and measures how many it gets right.
SimulationTry it →Website by profile and a self-updating app
The website shows what's useful for travelers, professionals, and journalists. The installed app updates itself without you having to do anything.
More precise positions
Trains follow the actual track layout, with elevations and gradients, and the jump between updates is less noticeable.
Schedules for any day and last-minute changes
All trains between two stations for the day you choose, with cancellations and schedule changes published by operators.
TripsTry it →Trenalito, smarter
Ask it in your language how to get from one place to another or what's happening on a line: it searches schedules and live data and takes you to the page with all options. You can rate its responses.
TrenalitoTry it →Install Trenalia on your phone
Add it to your home screen on iPhone or Android and use it like an app, no stores needed.
App and webTry it →Public history and what happened after each alert
Check how a train usually runs and a new menu that organizes all pages. Each alert on the map tells what happened afterwards.
Data validation and monthly report
Trenalia publishes how accurate it is with positions and delays, and a monthly punctuality report.
DataTry it →Cercanías, FGC, Euskotren and Rodalies
More operators on the map, on platforms, and in the journey planner.
A smoother map
New map engine: trains move smoothly and the map loads faster, on mobile too.
MapTry it →Network risks: fires, road closures, and restrictions
Layers of sections at risk, wildfire danger, and possible temporary speed restrictions, with open data from aGIS (STRATOS GS) and public agencies.

Journey planner with connections
Combine trains with connections, check the margin for each link and set your route so Trenalia can accompany you on your journey.
TripsTry it →Infrastructure and freight
Railway infrastructure layer and an aggregated estimate of freight traffic.
Projected delay
Trenalia estimates the delay each train will arrive with and only shows it where validation proves it's most accurate.
DataTry it →Track your train and indicative compensation
Track a train and receive delay or arrival notifications. With the known delay, calculate what compensation you might be entitled to.
Punctuality and incident analysis
Punctuality by service and section, train offer and the impact of each incident, with open data to download.
DataTry it →Platform view, open API and MCP
The platform view of any station, a widget for your website and a public API (also MCP for AI assistants) with the same data.
Five languages and dark mode
Trenalia in Spanish, English, French, Italian and German, with light or dark theme.
App and webTry it →Official timetables and station boards
Operator timetables and station boards to also see trains without GPS.
Cab view and 3D
Travel "from the cab": speed, next stop, the track ahead with its terrain and a 3D view.
MapTry it →History, deviations and network alerts
How each train usually runs and alerts when two trains get too close according to public data.
